the olden days




Three years ago today folks were clearing off the Speed River by the River Run Centre for some skating.

    Nada. Sides are a bit white. Then some thin black stuff for a bit - but free running water out in the main stream.

    i was out on the river here yesterday (kennebecasis in NB)- when it freezes solid it is like miles (or kilometres2 really) of playground... this is the latest it's ever froozed up
