Built in 1915 this rail car carried passengers until 1957 along the London & Port Stanley Railway - the first hydro railway in Ontario. It was meticulously restored over 14 years by members of the Halton County Radial Railway - Ontario's largest electric railway museum.
We rode about 40 km today from Guelph to West Montrose and back along the Kissing Bridge Trailway which runs through some beautiful rural areas. There is a nice little store run by Mennonites in West Montrose where you can get ice cream and berries to refresh before the ride home. Map of the trail right here.

finding this glacial pothole, one of the world's largest, in Rockwood CA takes a bit of off trail hiking but, if you don't fall off the cliffs, you are rewarded with a unique view of a landscape surprisingly rough so near to home.
we cycled the excellent rail trail from Elora to Lake Belwood. one footbridge over the Grand housed a swimming party.
