Blomidon is a corruption of "blow me down" or so they say.
We had a long hike through the park today and met maybe three other people - quiet place.
Beautiful vistas, rockhounding on the shore and good swimming the area too.

ReplyDeleteIt wasn't me - it was Sarah. And actually she didn't swim at Blomidon - although others were - we went to the Gaspareau River. She did swim later in the Bay at Brier Island - I have it on tape - including the yelps.
