street view

In the mid 70s I made a series of photos of people approaching and stepping off the curb at the corner of Albert & Richmond streets in London, Ontario. When I took a look at the corner today in Google Street View I was surprised to see a similar scene - is it the same man?

honey locust tree

Guelph is at the northernmost edge of the Carolinian forest so wild honey locust trees are rare. Their thorns are thought to have developed to ward off now extinct animals.

Queen Elizabeth I was one of the first persons to serve gingerbread men. I'm curious why they seem to be so heavily associated with Christmas time.

The nice thing about a wide angle lens is that you can shoot indoors and get most of the room in. This is a 16mm shot of my work area.

somebody's been eating my pumpkin

Each night for the last few weeks somebody's been snacking on my porch pumpkin. Who could it be now? Skunk? Raccoon? Cat? Dog? Squirrel? Glad there are no porcupines in the hood though - I hear they eat rubber.
