Eugenia Falls

The falls itself is rather meagre since most of the water has been diverted to to a hydroelectric plant which has been generating electricity since around 1895. A popular and pretty area in the Beaver Valley.

This year is very different. Check out a picture at www.flesherton.info/blog. Hydro One has shut down the hydro station for a few months to upgrade the wiring.

Cool. We were thinking of heading up that way tomorrow - maybe we'll stop there to see what it looks like with more flow. Thanks.
