woolen mill ruins

In 1867 Richard Harris opened a woolen mill in Rockwood which operated until 1919. This stone structure was built in 1884 and was destoyed by fire in 1965. It is now part of the Rockwood Conservation Area.

Hey..you don't know me, and probably might not ever read this, but I stumbled across your blog anyway.

Point being, I just wanted to basically say yay that someone else actually appreciates Rockwood and the ruins there. The rest of the pictures are fantastic too. Not that I know much about photography, but still, cool.

Anyway, I better go.

Thanks Richard.
Glad you liked the photos.
Rockwood is one of my favourite places to walk around - great variety of scenery, etc and near to Guelph where I live. Never too busy either.
