The colours of summer fade as we ride a vintage streetcar through the fall woods at the Halton Streetcar Museum.
"What did the wife of the soldier get
From Brussels, the Belgian town?
From Brussels she got the delicate lace
Oh! the charm and the grace of the delicate lace
That she got from the Belgian town"

"The Guelph Radial Trail runs northeast from Guelph along an abandoned electric railway route to meet the Bruce Trail at Limehouse. The Speed River Trail follows the river southwest to Cambridge: this trail becomes very wet after heavy rain. Many glacial features, including eskers, drumlins, and moraines, add interest to these pleasant and easy trails."
Guelph Radial Trail
The falls itself is rather meagre since most of the water has been diverted to to a hydroelectric plant which has been generating electricity since around 1895. A popular and pretty area in the Beaver Valley.
Eugenia Falls Conservation Area
It's best to make yourself conspicuous if you want to attract bees.
Belfountain Conservation Area
This is the week for fall colours in the Beaver Valley. Check out Epping Lookout Conservation Area on brow of the Niagara Escarpment with a great view of the Beaver Valley. The Bruce Trail runs through here and there is a historical plaque dedicated to the naturalist John Muir who spent two years in this area before heading off to the US where he founded the Sierra Club and became the father of the conservation movement.

Just up the hill from Bognor the Bruce Trail crosses the crest.

A beautiful cascade at the Inglis Falls Conservation Area. Very accessible. You can venture down into the gorge for more exciting views.
Owen Sound
A side trail off the Bruce Trail will take you through this heritage site and some beautiful forests and meadows.
Scotsdale Farm
A great place to go with kids, especially on those cold winter days. The buterflies will land on you if you're still enough.
Wings of Paradise Butterfly Conservatory
One of the most accessible waterfalls along the Bruce Trail - there's a parking lot about 20 metres from it. Smoky Hollow Falls, also known as Grindstone Falls and Great Falls - the Grindstone Creek falls about 7 or 8 metres into a beautiful rocky creek bed.
Waterdown.
