hen of the woods

A friend of my daughter's went on a foray today with the Mycological Society of Toronto and found some hen of the woods. Also known as Grifola frondosa, Sheep’s Head, Ram’s Head or Maitake it is reputed to be delicious - I haven't verified that yet. NB: don't confuse this with a chicken of the woods.
