flames on suffolk street

This morning as I stepped out on the front porch I smelled what I thought was the neighbours' wood stoves then noticed it seemed rather foggy then realized a siren was approaching.
I followed the smoke to a house around the corner and watched as it burnt up frighteningly quickly.
As far we know no one was injured.
Time to check those smoke alarms.

I used to deliver newspapers to the old lady in that house. Did it burn completely down to the ground?

yes I used to deliver newspapers there too ;) not completely to the ground - but i suspect not worth repairing - $150K damage.
