mld, your story of your son wearing your father's coats was very sweet. I have been known to 'save' a few old clothes, jackets, pants. I don't know maybe I was thinking Halloween or something but they lingered, they loitered, they lolligagged. Two years ago at Xmas my son Alec gave me a video he'd made - he'd dressed up in my old clothes and a wig and was pretending to be me when I first moved to Guelph in the late 70's. It was winter as he creaked about town giving a mockumentary of moi. The pants were so tight he had to remove them between scenes. The mannerisms and patter was very on. I laughed. So I don't feel too wrong about hanging on to those old clothes. Now the old clothes that Sarah hangs on to well that's different...

Thanks mld, I enjoyed seeing both your daughter's and your own blog.
